The above stated breeder agrees to sell above stated puppy to above stated
buyer for the sum of __________ w/ limited registration. (Limited registration
papers will be sent to the buyer, after seller receives a spay/neuter certificate
from a veterinarian.) All puppies require a $500.00 deposit. Choice of
puppy is determined on a first come, first served basis. Final payment is due
before pup is released into buyers custody and needs to be made in cash or
postal money order payable to : Tara Fortin (Unless other arrangements are
made in writing.)
The seller agrees to furnish the buyer with the necessary health information
including all shot and worming records. The ______registration application will
be executed at the time of purchase. The buyer understands that this puppy
will be eligible for permanent registration with the _____ and has been fully
informed on how to go about the process of _____ registration.
The Buyers deposit is fully refundable should unforeseen circumstances arise,
until chosen pup reaches 6 weeks of age. Should buyer decide after 6 weeks
not to accept delivery of pup, deposit may be transferred to another litter or is
considered forfeited and will not be refunded. As a responsible breeder, this
seller would not want to force said buyer to take a pup that they do not want,
and unable to care for, or would cause financial hardship. So please be a
responsible buyer and make sure that you are able to afford this pup, and have
the ability to care for and love this animal properly. This is a long term
commitment (10 to 15 years or more!)
This animal is guaranteed as follow:
1. to be in good physical condition for the first 48 hours after the time of
sale. It is the buyer’s responsibility to take the puppy to your veterinarian
during these 48 hours the puppy is in your possession, for the guarantee to be
valid. If your vet finds a genetic defect with the puppy, you may return it for
a replacement if one is available. If a replacement pup is not available, you will
receive one from the next litter.
2. free of major hereditary genetic faults, which would render the animal
unsuitable as a pet until the pups 1st birthday. If such an inheritable disease is
documented by a veterinarian and presented to the seller with sufficient
supporting evidence, the buyer is entitled to a replacement puppy of
comparable quality at the soonest opportunity. The seller reserves the right to
a second veterinarian opinion at the expense of the seller.
3. To be of sound temperament, that is to be neither shy nor vicious as to
render the dog an unfit companion. This guarantee of temperament is effective
only until the pup’s first birthday. And is contingent upon reasonable proof
that any defect in temperament is not the result of lack of proper care or
training on the part of the buyer. Breeder does not knowingly sell any pups
for guarding or personal protection purposes. Any such training will completely
void contract.
At no time will this breeder be held responsible for defects/conditions/injuries
caused by the buyers neglect, abuse, improper nutrition, or mishandling.
The buyer agrees to:
1. To use the kennel name “Bay States” as the kennel prefix in the
registered name of the puppy.
2. In the event that the buyer chooses to cease ownership of the dog for
whatever reason, the seller will have the absolute right of first refusal to accept
the return of this dog; however, the breeder is not obligated to refund any or
the entire purchase price.
3. Maintain up to date vaccines and routine worming.
Pup has received the following:
-- 1st puppy shot booster (Distemper, corona virus, hepatitis,
leptospirosis, parvovirus, and Para influenza.) To be boostered
2 more times at 3 to 4 week intervals.
--wormed with strongid wormer
4. Buyer agrees to provide lots of love, proper nutrition and training to ensure
pups well rounded growth.
The Buyer and Seller agree that this is the full and complete agreement that
exists between the parties for the sale of a__________________. Any agreements
made before this are considered incorporated herein and any modifications
made to this agreement shall be made in writing or such shall not be effective.
Signing and returning this contract with a $500.00 deposit will reserve the
above stated puppy for your purchase. An updated contract will be given when
pup is paid in full.
Seller reserves the right to terminate this contract for any reason before the
pup is released to the buyer.
